Ad valorem tax reform becomes reality following defeat of SQ 669 and subsequent passage of SQ 675, 676 and 677. The Oklahoma Legislature, responding to rural land owners represented by Oklahoma Farm Bureau, raises the exemption on estate taxes to $700,000.
