First legislative success on agriculture sales tax

The first legislative success concerning agriculture sales tax was accomplished in 1957, when a bill granting sales tax exemption for feeds and the trade value of used machinery was passed.

In 1978, a blanket exemption for all items used for production or storage of agricultural products was granted.
